GOLDEN LANE, WITHIN THE PRAGUE CASTLE, NAMED AFTER THE GOLDSMITHS WHO LIVED HERE IN THE 17TH CENTURY. THESE HOUSES WERE BUILT RIGHT INTO THE ARCHES OF THE CASTLE WALLS IN THE LATE 1500'S, ORIGINLLY FOR THE 24 GUARDS OF RUDOLPH II.
